Colorimeter (RGB value detection )

A colorimeter is a scientific instrument that measures the concentration of colored substances in a solution by quantifying how much light of a specific wavelength is absorbed or transmitted, based on the Beer-Lambert Law. It works by passing light through a sample, detecting the remaining light with a photocell, and calculating the substance's concentration (higher concentration means more light absorption). Colorimeters are vital in chemistry, water quality testing (like chlorine, nitrates), environmental analysis, pharmaceuticals, and food industries for quality control and analysis.

It works on detection of RGB value through different sensor, every sensor has its own algorithm on different channel with light intensity and wavelength dispersion.

Working principle – specific wavelength distribution light is passed through sample or object . it reflected or diffracted in specific color spectrum . these spectrum are passed through different channel board . channel board then converted to LAB,RGB value. Data of RGB value can be transferred to system via RS485,Ethernet,RS232 .
